To whom it may concern, Enclosed please find my resume. I would very much like to be considered for a position in your school. I have 25 years of experience as a special education teacher. My experience has been with elementary students from pre-school to fifth grade. I have worked with students with learning disabilities, behavior issues, autism, mild to moderate to severe disabilities. Students that have below grade level academics, OT and speech issues, and social-emotional issues. Through my years of experience, I have come to learn that is important to build a foundation of integrity, honesty, and compassion in order to facilitate the learning of children at an early age. I believe in an environment that allows each child to reach their fullest potential in all areas of life, no matter what their learning challenges may be. Every child has the capacity to learn, the trick is to find out how to connect with the child to support their individual way of learning. My philosophy is to treat each child has a whole individual to reach their goals.
