Hi, I'm Heather. I have been a mom for 16 years, three boys ages 16, 15 and 10. Sadly they don't seem to need me much these days for anything other than being a live in maid and chef so I have come to miss having little ones around to care for. I am a marketing manager for a construction company, I have a back ground in Massage Therapy and medical coding and billing. I have cooked for the las 25 years and have become quite skilled at cooking. I have also done deep cleaning and painting for 30 properties in Albany that get turned over once a year in may. I am experienced with organization, time management, arts and crafts, outdoor fun as well as teaching basic Spanish to toddlers. I have a high level of patience with kids, especially special needs children. I am looking for a family Read more that needs someone reliable, trustworthy and very good with kids. Sometimes I feel like I fit in better with children than adults because they are easier to start a conversation with. I have a very approachable personality when it comes to children and they connect with me very quickly. I remember when I use to look for childcare for my children I felt like I was always dealing with people that just wanted the money and didn't really want to make the children feel like they were cared for. I struggled very much with choosing to not work over settling for a half invested caregiver to my children, which led to me choosing to find a job where I could work from home. I know a lot of people work from home now a days, but I also know that even if you do, you have to work and cant tend to the kids very often. I understand the problems that parents face in finding childcare, so I thought that I would be a great person that could offer my help with looking after children with parents that need to depend on someone.
