My name is Michelle. I am 47 years young. I am a certified Early Childhood Educator and Elementary Educator. I have been a stay at home mother for the past sixteen years. I have four beautiful daughters. I am looking to care for two local teacher's infants in my Manorville home. I know that many parents hesitate to put their infant in a daycare for a variety of reasons. It may be being the fear of exposing you baby to so many germs in a childcare facility or the caretaker being basically anybody off of the street, not required to have a degree in early childhood nevertheless a master's degree. I know I certainly would hesitate to put my infant in the hands of an individual that has not centered their career around children in some aspect. Daycares that care for infants are not required to hold a degree in Read more childcare. The owner/director does but they are busy running the facility. It is very scary reading about or watching news stories of child abuse of infants. I have chosen a career that is all about children and in addition have had the experience of raising four of my own. If I was a working mother of an infant, I would prefer to have my infant with someone who has a genuine love for children and not just an uneducated person that just needed a job. I'm at a point in my life where I prefer to care for infants in my home instead of re-entering the teacher field. I absolutely love infants!!! I could hold them all day long.
