I am an ecologist who loves working with kids of all ages! I started babysitting for neighbors as a teenager, and from there I never really stopped working with kids. I tutored middle and high schoolers while I was in college and la,st year, I worked as an assistant teacher for a 1st through 3rd grade class at a Waldorf school. I also substituted regularly in the daycare and Kindergarten classes there. We spent almost all of our time outside and utilized our forest setting to learn about the world around us. I have a bachelor's degree in biology and a master's in ecology, so I really loved teaching this way. Currently, I am working part time in the nursing department at a local college.
