Hello! My name is Marisa or "Rissy" as some kids like to call me. I am a super creative, fun-loving babysitter/nanny who prioritizes safety while having fun over everything. I have been babysitting children since the age of sixteen where I received my certification in CPR and home fire safety planning. In my senior year of school, I was part of a prestigious honors program called New Visions: Education and Human Resources, where I worked with professionals amongst many positions such as therapists, special education educators, K-5 educators, music and physical therapists, and conflict resource officers. In this program I worked with children ages three to thirteen with many different ranges of needs from physical disabilities to cognitive disabilities, from preschool age to middle school age. While in the New Visions program, I was also a theatre education teacher for children ages five to twelve teaching children the art of Read more performing and improvisation in the theatre. After graduating school, I went through the rigorous and competitive process to apply as a Youth Activities Counselor for Disney Cruise Line. On the Disney Fantasy I work with children ages three to twelve and am responsible to the safety and entertainment of around one hundred to five hundred children that are in our spaces. So if your kids love Disney, singing, or playing games, I'm the gal for you! I am a nanny who is great at last minute changes, conflict management, and safety through engagement. I always bring my creative side to the job when caring for children, and I believe education can be achieved through play. I have a Bachelor's Degree in Acting from Baldwin Wallace University and have always had a passion for learning and education.
