Meet Lily

Not only do I love working with kids, but I have substantial experience working with them! I have been babysitter/first aid certified since age 12, and CPR certified since age 16. I have volunteered at a camp for children with special needs since age 11, where I also began to provide babysitting/mother's helper services. At age 16, I was hired to work the after school program at the elementary school I went to, and more recently was hired as a community habilitation worker for a peer with special needs. Additionally, I work summers as an aide at the elementary-aged special education ESY program. I am currently a sophomore at UB, studying psychology with the goal to someday be a child psychologist and looking to continue working with kids in Buffalo like I do at home! What sets me apart from other potential child care providers is not only my various Read more experiences, but my compassion and ability to connect with the kids I work with. I value building relationships built on trust and support with both kids and their parents, and provide a sense of safety and flexibility that allows me to be successful in this type of work, not to mention I love doing it :)
