Throughout the past 15 years I have worked with children in all stages of development from infancy through young adulthood and in many different aspects of life. When I was 11 years old, I was a mother’s helper to a mom in my town that had one-year-old triplet girls. I would go over after schools and help with anything, making food, cleaning, changing diapers, whatever she needed. For the past 8 years I have babysat many different families. A family of three, two girls and a boy from the ages of new born to 10 years old, another family of three with three girls ages 5, 3 and 2 and another family with three girls aged 12, 3, and a newborn. I have also worked with children with special needs one family with a 10 year old boy with GAND and another family with a 5 year old girl with Read more Rhett syndrome. I have a great deal of experience with babysitting children of all different ages and all different personalities. I love working with children which is also demonstrated throughout my work experience. In May 2015, I graduated Providence College cum laude with a Psychology Major and a Business Studies Minor. Subsequent to graduation, in June 2015, I started working at Memorial Sloan Kettering (Dept. of Medicine) as a Research Study Assistant (RSA) I and then was promoted to Clinical Research Supervisor (CRS). Through my past professional experiences and volunteer opportunities, I have realized I am extremely passionate about becoming an occupational therapist. I started occupational therapy at NYU in 2019 and am so excited to graduate in December and start my career in occupational therapy! When I am not babysitting or studying I love to exercise, cook, read, and spend time with family and friends.
