Hi! I am a fun-loving 25-year-old Brit looking to provide part-time childcare in a virtual capacity. I have a Psychology bachelors from the UK and Child Life masters from the US. I work as a Certified Child Life Specialist at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital and in the homeschooling company Modulo Learning. At NewYork-Presbyterian, I provide psychosocial preparation, emotional support, and medical play/education to pediatric patients aged 0-21 (e.g. asthma, diabetes, surgery, sickle cell, etc.) and their families. With Modulo, I facilitate recreational activities online with well children and children with healthcare needs, including yoga, reading, numeracy, meditation, storytelling, dance, arts, music, and creative writing. I have a passion for utilising a play-based approach in my interventions with a focus on rapport-building, safeguarding, compassion, and empathy to inspire project-based and self-directed learning. In particular, if your child has unique healthcare needs, I have the experience and training to provide a specialised service.
