Hola Hola, My name is Abē. I hail from Minneapolis, Minnesota where I worked in bilingual after school programming, largely around food, the arts, and literacy. I love to cook and garden with kids, field their honest questions about the world, and see life through their eyes. As an educator, I prioritized social emotional learning and writing as expression. I appreciate watching young people figure out who they are, and I consider it a privilege to be by their side in that journey. Moreover, as a new New Yorker, any adventure I take with your kids (and pets) will be eye opening and whimsical for me, too.
