Hello! My name is Jonice Ward and I am 25 years old. I graduated from Boston College in May of 2013 and then spent a year in Kenya working for UNICEF. I then moved back home for a year and worked with Family Service of RI coaching parents whose children were in state custody in hopes that they can reunify with them. Currently I am working as a Parent Coach, conducting a 10week evidenced-based in-home parenting program for children who have faced early adversity. I am also enrolled in a fellowship program for Medical School. I am CPR/first aid and also MAP (med administration) certified and babysit frequently through care.com. I worked at the Shady Hill School/Camp in Cambridge, MA for three consecutive years and have also tutored for both children and adults. In Kenya, although it was not part of my job description, I took over the second grade Read more class for an absent teacher and also ran reading groups for grades Prek-8th grade. I love children and pets and have learned and implemented diverse activities for both groups and would love to work with you!
