Jassiris C.

Jassiris started with us when our daughter was six months old. We are saying goodbye to her in a couple months now that our little girl is starting 3K. It will be hard to see her go. There will be many tears! We cannot say enough wonderful things about the presence that Jassiris has been in our kiddo's life for the past 2 1/2 years. She has been in our home three days a week while my husband works out of the home and I work in our home office, and I've had a chance to observe her with our kid during this time. Our daughter is smart and headstrong--the kind of kid with whom it's easy to get into a battle of wills--and Jassiris has been the loving, emotionally intelligent, no-nonsense caregiver our girl needed. Jassiris is sensitive but firm when she needs to be, she has a wonderful sense of humor about kids, and her genuine enjoyment of them is very evident. Our daughter adores her, and I have found myself consulting her at times about how to handle various challenges. Her advice is always right on the money. She's the kind of babysitter who gets your kid to eat broccoli, learn her ABC's, and take a nap without too much fuss, all in a day's work. She's reliable and an excellent communicator--which was especially important when she started at the tail-end of the Covid pandemic and we all had to negotiate when someone got sick over how much risk was too much, for both us and Jassiris. I don't know how we would have made it through those difficult early months without her. Any family that ends up with Jassiris will be incredibly lucky to have her.

Jassiris has been taking care of my two kids (4 and 6) after school three days a week since September. She is reliable, warm, kind, flexible and truly loves being with kids. She will stay later some days just to play with either of my kids if she hasn't really had time with them that day. I work from home most days and its a pleasure to have her around. She engages and plays with my kids and sets boundaries when necessary in a kind and firm manner. She takes my kids to after school activities, play dates and is up for whatever is going on. We will miss her when we move!

I used Jassiris for 2 weeks and loved working with her. My girls loved her. She is awesome. She is punctional, dependable and reliable. Twice I had 2 emergencies and thankfully she showed up earlier and stayed longer with the girls. I would highly recommend her.
