Hi! I’m Johanna and I am a junior at American University in Washington D.C.! I am studying Environmental Science and Political Science at AU, but I have always had a passion for working with children. My dream would be to retire early and become a teacher. During the summers I work at a sleep-away camp in Massachusetts. For the past four summers, I have been a counselor for the same group of 15-20 girls. I absolutely adore those kids and I cannot wait to watch them become amazing counselors one day. I could not imagine a summer not working with children, and I would love to continue throughout the school year! Prior to working at camp, I have experience working with children of all ages at my temple. I was a teacher's assistant as well as a tutor for almost 6 years.
