Hi, I’m Maddie! I’m a New York City transplant of thirteen years, currently living in Astoria. I have worked in childcare consistently since I was a teenager, and I'd love to help your family out! I have experience as a babysitter, nanny, camp counselor, theatre teacher, and tutor for children ranging from infants to teens. If you're a family in Astoria, it's likely you've seen me around some of the playgrounds looking after some of the neighborhood kids! In my work in a teacher/counselor capacity, I have had extensive experience working with special needs children and at-risk teens, especially kids and teens on the Autism Spectrum. I have also prepared homemade meals for families with various dietary needs, including elimination diets and families who keep Kosher. If your children are interested in the performing arts, I am also a playwright, lyricist, singer and award-winning cabaret performer and would love to hang with kids who have the theatre bug!
