I worked as a student teacher of the infants room at the University of Nevada-Reno's Early Head Start program. Since it was through the University, I was required to have all of my trainings, certificates, background checks, and drug tests. I would change diapers, make bottles and regular meals, bathe if needed, played outside, and helped the babies grow and develop. With one other teacher in the room, I was watching 10 infants under the age of 1 at once. When needed, I would also work in the one's and two's room. I currently work in surgery in a hospital as well as I am in Nursing School.

We encourage parents to conduct their own screenings using the background check tools. See what each of the badges covered, or learn more about keeping your family safe by visiting the Trust & Safety Center.
