My name is Hayley and I am 26 years old. I have attended college at Snow College in Utah, and UNR in Reno, NV. I have had various babysitting and baby jobs as a youth, and one nanny job during college. I grew relationships with the kids I babysat for and the families; Some of which I am still friends with to this day. I then worked as a “mentor” in a boys sexual treatment center, working with boys aged 11-18 years old. Most of the boys had an autism spectrum disorder, ADHD or other neurodiverse boys. I gained experience in de-escalating situations, learning empathy, CPR, and how to create fun and wholesome activities that kept the boys engaged and safe. I love working with children, watching them grow, teach them, and experience new things with them. I love to learn and explore, create tasty foods, draw, color, play board Read more games, and allow children to also entertain themselves at times. I have a younger sister who is ok the autism spectrum disorder, while she is on the higher functioning side of that, I have also gained experience by living with her of how to have patience, accommodate to her needs, and create activities, or play game that she wants to play. I am very responsible and hard working. I am LDS (or “Mormon”) which has also taught me to be honest, have integrity, be hardworking, and love God. I can be very professional and follow all guidelines set by parents, while allowing children to have a fun and wholesome time.
