Hello! My name is Ronya Robertson. I am looking forward to working with one or two families in the Las Vegas area this year. My availability is fairly open and flexible in the day and evenings as well as some weekends. I also have typical set dates for when our family intends to travel-flights already booked, etc. that I could disclose these in an interview. I would like to ask for some flexibility as well so that I can be involved with my third grade son and my adult son's three children over this summer. In late April of last year, I relocated to Las Vegas from Kansas. Prior to moving here I was employed for USD 259 as a building substitute teacher for Park Elementary School. I still have the status of a licensed substitute in the Wichita district if you would like to verify my employment history. For Read more approximately ten years I was consistently teaching Elementary Music and Physical Education as well on assignments in the Wichita district. I would be happy to provide more professional references upon request as well. My major in college was Elementary Education, lacking a little over a year towards that degree from Wichita State University. Most of my life has been devoted to the upbringing of children and teaching. My personality is ENFP according to the Meyers and Briggs personality evaluation. I would describe myself as a calm, generous caregiver who enjoys helping anyone when I can. I am an adventurer and lifelong learner. I have five years of experience caring for infants and about the same amount of experience in addition to that with toddlers, potty training and with teaching Pre-K in a daycare setting. I have attended the CPR and First Aid courses routinely in my life, but I am not currently certified. I have swimming proficiency. I enjoy singing and would gladly teach your children beginning piano or recorder if requested. I love the chance to work outdoors and have a large flower and vegetable garden. I could provide the opportunity for your children to create a small contained window garden or one outdoors, if requested. I enjoy creating healthy snacks, meals, smoothies, fresh juice. I would be happy to provide a safe and structured environment at your home on a long or short term basis. I have pet training experience with Maltepoo's and Corgi's.
