I am a Mama first, always have been. Nurturing, compassionate, & real. Being a mother is my passion, so I have centered my life around it. My children and I (Ella 6, Dean 4) unschool and would love a friend to join us on adventures. I follow a conscious, connected, holistic parenting model. I make sure to do my own inner work so that I can be a safer space for children and check in with their need before reacting to their behavior. I’m the nanny that will wear your baby as much as you do because thats what she needs, or sit with your child on the floor for an hour while they work through a big feeling. We are an emotion friendly house, well versed in sensory & regulatory needs. We also believe in child led learning through play. We spend as much time as possible outside in Read more all weather & bring most of it back in to play and create. I have boundaries around screens & play music all the time. I do my best to keep a relaxing environment but I can throw one hell of a dance party. There will be more than one day that your little will go home with paint on their fingers & twigs in their hair. We are a neurodivergent home and so we are comfortable with neurodivergent children and families as well. I am comfortable and experienced with; - cloth diapering, k'tan baby wearing, baby-led weaning, baby/toddler sign language - peaceful parenting techniques - helping children meet their sensory needs and better relate to their environment to that they can thrive - crafting, hiking, pillow fighting, snack/meal prepping - cleaning owies, snuggling, naptimes, answering huge questions with vague answers, superhero trivia, mystical creature knowledge, kid language - and everything else motherhood includes... I genuinely love children and watching them explore and wonder at the world around them. I would be honored to be a part of your Village and help you through this. None of us can do this alone. ❤️😌
