I have years of paid experience as an educator and a nanny from ages 2 - 15. I have a background check as I worked within the Santa Fe Public Schools. I have a current first aid and a recently expired CPR. As an educator with Cooking with Kids and River Source, I managed large classrooms of 3-15 year olds through routine, positive redirection, and front-loading. At Cooking with Kids, I provided experiential food and nutrition education that improved students' cognitive behaviors, food and cooking attitudes, self-efficacy and motor skills. I also modified classes to foster the success of medically fragile and developmentally disabled students. With River Source, I helped to lead youth in riparian ecosystem monitoring, restoration, and preservation projects. I have been in childcare since I was 15.
