Hi, I’m Lana! (pronounced Law-nuh) I’m a senior at UNM majoring in psychology, and I’ve always loved spending time with children. Growing up as the only sister to three younger brothers, I’ve had plenty of hands-on experience, everything from changing diapers to breaking up sibling arguments! One of my brothers has autism, which has given me unique insight into his perspective on the world and the therapies and methods that help him thrive. Professionally, I have three months of babysitting experience, caring for kids aged 3, 4, 5, and 7. My responsibilities included school drop-offs and pick-ups, preparing meals and snacks, organizing fun activities and playtime, helping with homework, managing sibling conflicts, and ensuring the space stayed clean and tidy. I also loved creating opportunities for imaginative play and learning. I also love animals so I’d be happy to care for your pets too! I’m CPR and First Aid certified, Read more and I strive to bring patience, empathy, and a strong understanding of child development to every family I meet. I had to leave my previous position due to moving 45 minutes away, but I truly loved building relationships with the kids and their parents. I look forward to the opportunity to meet your family and create a safe, fun, and nurturing environment for your children!
