I became a caregiver from the early age of 8 years old. I helped my parents care for my 2 younger siblings and as I got older I would babysit my cousins. I continued to babysit for different families throughout my years in trade school. I have always enjoyed being a caretaker for for children, elderly and immunocompromised individuals. The time I have spent being a caretaker led me to the decision of wanting to become a nurse. So, I am currently a nursing student and should be done by spring of next year.
