Hello, My name is Kelley and I am a 32 year old grad from New Mexico Highlands University. I have my Master's Degree in Social Work and am a licensed independent social worker. I currently work a full time, home based job with Blue Cross Blue Shield. I babysat throughout my entire school career (as well as prior to this), love being around kiddoes and continue to babysit on an occasional basis. I do have a lot of prior experience. I worked at a community center for 3 years, first as a Recreation Aid, and then advanced to a Recreation Leader. I worked with ages 6-18 and ran the summer school and after school programs for 3 years. I spent 6 months in a daycare (specifically in the infant room), and worked at Teambuilder's Counseling for a summer working with at risk children. The first family I sat for was a family of 4 children- 3 boys, 2 of which were twins, and 1 girl. I watched the children grow up, as the youngest was just a baby when I started caring for the family. Most recently, I have been sitting for a family with 2 young children for the past year. I am open to staying at home with your children or taking them out! I love going on outings! I am CPR and First Aid certified. Although I have experience with all ages of children and enjoy sitting for any age, infants to about 4 years old is my favorite! I am open to working with families on rate of pay, but I would ask for a minimum of $11-12 an hour for one child, $13-$14 for multiple children, and between $13-$15 for those under 2 years, as I do have a lot of prior experience and am not your teenage babysitter. My little boy loves Kelley! She has been babysitting for us for 9 months now, starting when he was 14 months old. He is always happy and excited to see her. She takes him on outings and has even spent the night with him in our home, and I would never allow either of those things if I didn't have complete trust in her. I can tell that she really enjoys spending time with children and it's more than just a job to her.

Kelley has been my date night babysitter for my two boys (4,2) for almost one year. She is mature, responsible and great with children. She has previously worked within the police department, so she can handle any situation that may arise. She interacts with our children, and leaves our home cleaner than she found it. Although I'd hate to share her, she is absolutely fantastic and would be a great choice as a caregiver for your children.

We love Kelley!! My husband and I had interviewed a couple other people to watch our son (both instances we left saying there was no way they were going to watch him). When we met Kelley we were impressed with how responsible she was. Since we were staying in a hotel we dropped our 17 month old off at her apartment (which was always clean)...and they had a blast together!! I even recommended her to a friend who was looking for someone to watch her kids for a few hours. Kelley was the first non-family member/friend to watch our son (which all you parents know how scary that is!)...and I can't wait to plan a trip up there soon so that she can watch him again.
