Hello families! To start- I have cared for kids, pets, homes for more than 10 years and can’t tell you how much it fills my heart being around children. Because of my love for them, I started working as an instructional assistant in an elementary school. My first year I was in general ed, the next 2 years, transitioned to autism elementary. From there, I worked as a lead teacher for a daycare from infant room then toddler room. Now, I am working in a specialized children’s hospital as a care coordinator. To sum it up, I have experience in all fields with children- from ages, needs, restrictions, amount, you name it! My ideology is that I’m here to literally help you. I want you to feel like it’s a parent watching your child(ren) that you can feel safe and almost become family. I’m Italian, so believe me when I Read more say this, my family is even going to be obsessed with your kid(s). Of course, that is all with the respect and permission of you. Never looking to step on toes or cross boundaries. Pets are completely fine with me .. I have two AKC English Bulldogs myself and one therapy dog that is a St. Bernard/Poodle mix. I will not do reptiles or bugs- I’m a girl! Of course, I’m going to freak out with that (LOL)! Again, the amount of pets is fine with me. Just give me instructions on what specifics need to be done and I will do it. Even if that includes taking them for walks. Fine with light housekeeping and cooking/baking. However, if there is special dietary or foods that you want I ask that they be made beforehand so I don’t mess anything up. I have my own transportation and live with family. Non smoker and do not drink. Associate degree in Education and Bachelor graduate in Psych and Sociology. Currently debating on Master’s program. Never been arrested. Fun fact: I’ve always been compared to Fran Fine (The Nanny) because of my accent and personality-just an idea of who I am. BUT I also know the value of rules and discipline. There’s a time and place for everything. I’m comfortable with going to your house or even the kids being dropped off at mine. Completely up to you! Very flexible with needs, days, and times.
