Hi! My name is Marissa, I am a 24 year old bubbly, fun sitter who has 8+ years of experience working with children of all ages! I have always loved working with children and helping them grow! Besides being the older sister to my youngest brother who has suffered from a heart and lung disease his entire life who I was one of the primary caretakers of, I also babysat for a family of four children who were all under the age of 6 when I met them! The single mother I used to help on a daily basis, had me help raise her youngest two from the day they came home from the hospital, to their first steps,poddy training,swimming lessons and more! as she was frequently working and tending to her busy schedule. Due to my personal experiences with my brother as well as taking care of newborns and toddlers for years I am extremely safety conscious and responsible, all while still providing a fun and creative environment for the littles ones to enjoy and thrive in! I graduated from Seton Hall university with my bachelor’s degree in social and behavioral sciences in 2021 and am currently in between jobs looking to make some extra pocket money! I work in the HR field so beyond being a fun sitter I am also trained in a professional setting. I come from a large Italian family of 6, where I am the only girl, so I am able to cook/clean when need be as well! I have my own form of transportation and am able to do pickups/drop offs if needed. I am seeking a full time/part time position to act as a helping hand to parents who need a little extra support or some down time for their selves!
