My name is Vanessa Augustin, I am 31 years old, and I currently attend Touro College pursuing my degree in early childhood education. In addition to my studies, it has been an absolute joy working with children, hands on, for the last 6 years. I couldn't ask for a better job. In my current role with the board of education, I work with special needs children. My duties consist of providing meals & feeding, changing diapers, assisting students in fine motor skills activity, and homework help. While some others may find some of these tasks daunting, it is my pleasure to be able to help them in every capacity. Working with children had always been a passion of mine. Knowing that I can put a smile on their faces no matter the circumstances always makes my day.
