Hello Y'all! I am a Mama to two girlies, 9 and 5. They are in school during the day, and I am looking for a way to provide income and be at home when they are. I have been a nanny, preschool music and movement teacher, sunday school teacher, and am the oldest of 9 children. I have over 25 years of experience with children ranging from birth - older teens. My older daughter has some pretty significant special needs (ADHD and possibly some sensory processing), I've worked with children with various needs ( physical, mental, and intellectual.) For the past two years I worked with adults with intellectual disabilities, who commonly also had physical and mental health needs as well. My preference would be to watch a birth - pre-k age child in my home, or to have a position where I have the freedom to bring your child Read more with me when I need to get my daughters from school. I am very willing to help someone who cannot afford a large hourly rate in exchange for the freedom to be here with my children, run my own errands, etc WHILE caring for your child. I am capable of doing household chores and cook elaborate meals, but what I am looking for is primarily childcare focused. I would of course fix meals for your child and clean up after myself/them while working with them. We are a very LGBTQ+ affirming family. I have a girlfriend, and the other coparents in my family are also LGBTQ or allies. It is important that whatever family I am working with does not take issue with this. I have had my first 2 Covid vaccines, and am getting my 3rd/booster as asap. I have been CPR and first aid certified in the past year.
