Starting at age 13, I began official babysitting and quickly fell in love with it. Around the same time, I started caring for my 18-month-old niece and cherished every moment we spent together. During my sophomore year, I took a child development class that deepened my understanding of children's developmental stages, lesson planning, and the importance of nurturing their growth. This class further fueled my passion for working with children. Since 2022, I have been working at Sewell School in the Childcare program for ages 3-6 years. In this role, I take care of children after school, providing them with food, toys, and anything else they may need. I recently graduated from high school, and as I look toward more serious career opportunities, I am eager to find a role involving children where I can support their developmental journey.
