Hello! My name is Shelley, and I would like to help your family with your loving childcare needs. I am fully Covid vaccinated and boosted, and will happily wear a face mask if you desire. I am trained and certified in First Aid and CPR/AED, and hold a NJDOE N-8 elementary Teacher certification. I have dedicated my career to loving, guiding, exploring and discovering, with our youngest learners. I thoroughly enjoy spending my days with young children, and have great patience, consistency, creativity and understanding. Nothing makes me more proud and happy, than seeing children grow and thrive under my care. Although I do not have a professional nanny or babysitting resume, I do have over 20 years of preschool teaching experience, most recently at the Ben Samuel’s Children’s Center at Montclair State University, and prior to that, at the Montclair Community PreK. I am seeking a babysitting position, where I can guide a child through their daily schedule, adding natural learning experiences when possible, and help them explore and enjoy the wonders in their natural world. I am a naturalist, who loves being outside in all types of weather. I am also an animal lover and would enjoy becoming part of a household who shares their life with pets.
