Responsible and qualified babysitter with years of experience working with children ranging from newborns and older. I have completed my Babysitting certification by the Girl Scouts of America. I have worked at a boy scout camp for 5 years as a Day Camp Director and as a Camp Counselor. As a Day Camp Director I directed, monitored and supervised a group of 40 to 75 Boy Scouts ages 10 to 17 in scouting activities 5 days a week for two in a half months. As a Day Camp Director I was trained in diversity issues, conflict resolution, and working together as a staff to create a comfortable environment for our customers. as a camp counselor I was responsible for accommodating the programs to scouts with mental and physical disabilities while giving them the same scouting experience as everyone else. I also have my certification in Montessori Dementia Care Professional Certification. Read more Since graduating college in 2015 I have worked in a senior living community as an Assistant Recreational Director. I have worked with older adults of different functionality levels. I have also planned and organized a variety of different intergenerational programs. I truly believe that intergenerational programming is extremely beneficial. I love working with people of all ages and sizes. I enjoy and take great pride in embellishing to small details to make something extraordinary. Whether it is celebrating National Rubber Duck Day or having a random midmorning karaoke moment it's worth it.
