Hi, I'm Marin Rizzo, and I am currently a rising sophomore at the University of Pittsburgh, studying Social Work. Having worked multiple jobs centered around caring for children, I understand the responsibility that comes with being a nanny and how important it is to keep kids both safe and happy. While working, I’m always very interactive and engaged. I'm energetic, outgoing, and love doing whatever the kids are interested in—within reason, of course! If they’re unsure of what to do, I’m quick to come up with fun activities, often based on their interests or something new to spark their curiosity. I know kids can be messy, and I have no problem cleaning up after them. I also like to include them in tidying up, using it as a fun way to teach responsibility. I’m a big believer in getting kids moving—whether it’s going to the park, making new friends, or Read more just playing outside. That said, I also recognize that every child is different. Some prefer quieter activities, and I’m happy to slow things down with a movie, reading, drawing, or other relaxing options. I also have experience with children who have unique needs or sensory sensitivities. Growing up with a brother on the spectrum, I’m comfortable providing care and support for children who may need a little extra understanding. I'm very good at adapting to each child’s personality and play style, and I enjoy working with a diverse group of kids. I also understand that many families have daily routines, and I’m more than capable of following those respectfully.
