Hello! My name is Casey Santora! I am 23 years old. I have my bachelors degree in Psychology and Criminology and will have my Masters degree in Social Work and LSW in May 2023. My experience-I am currently the director of So Big Child Development Center (ages 6 weeks to 6 years old). This includes running the day to day operations of a day care, taking care of the children, curriculum, employees, administration, etc. I work daily with children, either one on one or in a classroom, observe behavior, interact with children and communicate with parents. I previously worked at an after school enrichment program at Briarwood School (Florham Park)- this ended due to COVID-19. My job title was a teacher, I watch and teach grades pre-k through second. While playing with and supervising around 80 children (usually 12 at a time, ages 3 to 10), I also helped students Read more with homework and work on developing new skills they can carry out in their own lives. Every day, I prepare snack for the children, clean up, play with them outside, push kids of the swings, and organize clubs for the children to attend. Whether the club be sports club (kickball, physical activity), art club (arts and crafts) reading or even board games clubs, I always assure the students are getting the structural development they need, all while they’re having fun! CPR and First Aid certification in Infant, child and adult. 20+ hours of early childhood education through OOL.
