I have been babysitting since I was about 13. At that time I babysat for neighbors and family friends. Once I got into high school I continued to babysit. I did a lot of babysitting for my former girl scout leaders grandson. I also watched my grandmothers good friends granddaughter several times a week. I have also volunteered at my old elementary school for homework help. I have some very personal experience working with children. One of my good friends had a baby young and I assisted in the care of this child for several months before the baby was placed for adoption. I also have three young cousins. One of which has developmental disabilities. I was around for all of their births and did a lot of babysitting for them. I am currently in school for special education.
