I am retired. I am a mother to 3 Longhaired Dachshunds: Romeo, Figaro, and Mozart. They are my boys! I had my own Landscape Design Business on Long Beach Island for 25 years. I successfully did my own Design, installation and Maintenance. This career allowed me to raise my son at the time. My husband passed due to Non Hodgkin’s Lymphoma after serving 2 Tours of duty in Vietnam. I did not qualify for Government aid. I wanted to be a Mother first, and being self employed allowed that. You don’t get those precious years back! My Mom was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s when my son was 2.5 years old. My parents gifted me their home in Harvey Cedars, so I could raise my son in a safe environment with excellent schools. It also made it easy for my Dad to get some respite from caring for my Mom, while getting Read more to enjoy his only grandchild. I am blessed to have had all this experience in my life. We want the best for our children and I was able to raise a successful son and develop an incredible, creative business. So, I thought it might be rewarding to help another parent/family have their own happiness with their family and livelihood.
