I am an Early Childhood Educator who works at a Head Start program that only runs during the school year. I have a bachelor degree in ECE with a minor in psychology. I am CPR and First aid certified for infants and children. I have been a teacher for 23 years, but have babysat since I was 13 years old. I really enjoy taking children out for day trips, provided there is spending money for gas, food, event tickets, etc., however this is not a necessity. At a previous teaching job I took classes on field trips and even drove the small bus/van. I am very safety conscious. I have worked with children who have chronic illnesses including asthma, failure to thrive, diabetes, and severe allergies. I am comfortable giving treatments and medication as necessary.
