I have been babysitting for 18+ years -- consistently throughout high school, college, and graduate school. Typically, I have met or have been referred to families within the communities I have lived. My experience is great and wide, having cared for a number of infants as their parents adjusted to having a new child and as they adjust back to work from maternity leave. I worked in a 1st grade classroom for children with special needs, providing for extensive experience and understanding of children with special needs (specifically Autism). Currently, I am in graduate school, earning a doctor of psychology.
