I have been a nanny/babysitter basically my entire working life. I have a younger brother whom I took care of, but also have been babysitting all throughout high school. In college I was a nanny for a family (the past five years) and in the summers I watched other kids in addition to the original family as well. After college I moved to New York City as a live in nanny and watched two kids and their pets. It was an amazing experience and i had a lot of responsibility as the point person for everything in the home. I traveled with the kids, brought them to doctor appointments, school activities, cooled foe the entire family, and just about everything you can think of. The family I nannied the most during college consisted of two girls who are now 5 and 10, but I have been watching them for five Read more years. I brought them to activities, drove them to and from school, between different homes, cooked, cleaned, took care of pets, grocery shopping, and any other duties the family needed done. The youngest I have experience with is 3 months old. The biggest group I had watched all together was 6 kids (3 sets of siblings) for a whole summer. I worked as a nanny at a summer camp as well watching two boys for 3 years. I then proceeded to work at the camp as the camp directors assistant. I have been a dance teacher for kids ranging from 3-15 as well! All of the families I have worked for did not allow screen time, so I have a lot of experience playing with and engaging the children in games, sports, crafts, reading, and outdoor play! I am still really close with every family I have ever nannied for and can have them speak to you as well! Also; I have a valid drivers license with a clean record of driving. I also received two bachelors degrees in school, one in nutrition and wellness in school which helps a lot when thinking about healthy choices for the kiddos! My mom is a nurse, and my dad an EMT so I have grown up with a lot of medical background. I am also CPR and first aid certified.
