Hello parents. I am a parent, former soccer coach of 11 years, and former after school program chess teacher, with experience as a home daycare provider for one child. I can understand a little Spanish, but not much. My kids are adults in college. My schedule is currently open. I have coached teams of up to 18 children from ages 5 to 18 as a youth soccer coach of 11 years. I have been responsible for our kids' friends quite often for many years, as I was the primary parent, and for some time a widowed father raising kids on my own. So, I have done it all from housework to activity planning to homework to laundry to driving to cheerleading and soccer, to serving as a mentor and guide. And, I love to cook. I was paid to watch one boy on a regular basis in my own, including Read more overnight care, but I am not interested in providing overnight care at this time. My wife is a PhD at Dartmouth Health. I run a small manufacturing business in our garage in White River Junction, where my wife and I own our home and two cars. *Honorable Discharge from the US Army *Bachelor's Degree in Business and Office Information Systems * Executive level relationship and communication experience I have had many background checks: one or two for every year of coaching and after school program teaching. I have had emergency and CPR training and would be willing to get re-certified and background checked again, if the right position arrises, as my certification has since lapsed. I only recently found this website/app, so I am waiting for legitimate offers before re-upping certifications. I will act fast after you and I talk. The background checks cost over $100 and only last 90 days. So, I'm waiting to see if anyone actually wants to hire me, before spending the money. The results should come back quickly, and I have a clean record in every way, so there should be no delay. Great with dogs. No cats. I'll respect food/other allergies, special needs, trauma triggers, sensitive personalities. I'm also a good listener and have lots of patience. I can manage minor scrapes and bruises myself and will report any incident to you and/or 9-1-1 immediately, as appropriate.
