Hi! My name is Kathryn, & I’m 32 years old. I recently relocated to Omaha from Denver, CO, & currently work remotely in mental health Monday through Friday, 12 PM to 7 PM. I’m available in the mornings & am open to working remotely from your home if needed, as my workload is self-directed & flexible. I’m an artsy, nature-loving, and assertive individual who is passionate about creating a safe, engaging, & educational environment for children. I have three years of experience nannying for a family of three in Denver. When I started, the children were 18 months, 4, & 6 years old. During my time with them, I became a trusted adult in their lives, serving as a liaison with medical professionals, coaches, teachers, & other parents. My responsibilities went far beyond childcare, including: overnight care, inventory management & shopping, party planning & gift buying, daily & deep cleaning, Read more designing & implementing home organization systems, Researching, scheduling, & managing extracurricular activities In addition, I worked with a family in Hawaii for six months, caring for their newborn. My experience also includes supporting children aged 6 to 18 in residential mental health settings, focusing on their social and emotional development. I’ve served as a camp counselor for several years with organizations like the Boys & Girls Club, Girl Scouts of America, YMCA, and Boy Scouts of America. Throughout my life, I’ve regularly babysat for friends, family, & referrals. These experiences have given me a comprehensive understanding of childcare & the unique needs of families. As a former Army brat, I understand the vital role a strong support network plays in raising children, especially for families navigating transitions or relocations. Moving often taught me the importance of community, trust, & shared values. I deeply respect the trust you place in someone to care for your children & am committed to aligning with your family’s values. I have a reliable, insured 2021 Rav 4 (seating 5) and a clean driving record, making me available for school or activity drop-offs. I’m skilled in planning sensory activities, preparing meals, organizing outings, & creating fun, enriching experiences tailored to your children’s needs. Additionally, I’m happy to discuss how I can assist with other family tasks, such as shopping or light cleaning—just let me know what you need! I would love the opportunity to connect & learn more about how I can support your family.
