Hi there! I'm Ameerah, a 19-year-old with a heart full of sunshine and a passion for working with kids. I'm currently saving up for esthetician school, and I figured what better way to do that than by doing something I absolutely love: spending time with kids! I'm basically a kid magnet at heart. Working with kids isn't just a job for me, it's an adventure every day. From building pillow forts to solving mystery puddles, there's never a dull moment. Maybe it's because I get my "big sibling fix" naturally. Having seven siblings (and being a twin to boot!) means I've built my whole life around laughter, patience, and a knack for inventing silly voices. I remember working at an elementary school during high school, feeling a spark ignite every time I saw those bright, curious eyes. It became my mission to make their days a little brighter, a little Read more sillier, and maybe a little bit more magical. Being a nanny gave me that chance to make a true impact. It's amazing seeing little personalities blossom, knowing I played a part in that. And cheerleading? Well, that's all about teamwork, encouragement, and pushing boundaries (figuratively speaking, of course!). It taught me how to build up others, celebrate their wins, and pick them up when they stumble. So, what sets me apart? I think it's that genuine love for kids that radiates from me. I see the world through their eyes, full of wonder and possibility. I can build a cardboard castle or dive into a deep discussion about dinosaurs with equal enthusiasm. But it's not all giggles and sunshine. I understand the importance of structure, routine, and gentle guidance. I'm a firm believer in open communication and creating a safe space where kids can be themselves, big feelings and all. Basically, I'm the kind of sitter who'll be your kid's partner in crime, their biggest cheerleader, and their confidante, all rolled into one.
