Hey there. I have a LOT of experience with Middle and High School youth. I have over eight years experience with the YMCA & YWCA in this area, as well as over 15 within my church ministries. I think they are a great age group that few people think of for after school care. But there is a great need for someone to be there at home for these guys! You never know when an intruder will come into the home. I know of a few kids where this has happened before. Things are scary these days and the more people at home, the better. Before Covid, I worked almost 3 yrs with a family with 3 pre-teen to teen girls, who I picked up after school and drove to practices and other activities. It was a great job and I would love to do something similar again. I have Read more CPR & First Aid training. I can be there for your kid if, heaven forbid, something bad were to happen. I've been certified numerous times, and can be again if you would prefer. I can be an active presence, doing activities, running them to practice, etc. Or I can be just someone who is sitting there in case I'm needed. I know teens and preteens do not think that they need a babysitter. Think of me more as a buddy for the kids to have around. I also have a wonderful dog who loves kids and people, and she would love to come along for the ride if that's possible. She is very social and gets along great with other dogs as well. She came along with me on my last job most days and the girls loved seeing her. She has been trained in various things, including being a therapy dog. Thanks for taking time to read my profile!
