I'm a nurturing, protective, but easygoing individual with a genuine love for children, laughter, singing, dancing, and creativity! I have worked in licensed childcare and babysitting, for children ranging in age from 2 months to 11 years. I have about 3.5 years year of paid experience in childcare, and longer than that in an unpaid/volunteer capacity for relatives and neighbors. I am First Aid and CPR Certified and have experience with children with special needs, such as autism and down syndrome. In addition to working at an after school program for preschoolers and a drop-in childcare facility for children birth-8 years, I have worked at a summer camp for children with autism and at a preschool for children with special needs (in a 2-year-old/toddler classroom). I have babysat for a few different families, including one with an 11-month-old baby and his 4-year-old sister. I am compassionate, responsible and have taken Read more extensive child development coursework in college. Thank you for your consideration!
