I have been babysitting full time, off and on, since I graduated high school and have always enjoyed the opportunity to work with kids! I've also been trained and worked for a 5-star licensed child care facility that has ranked among the top 10 centers in the state for five consecutive years. It was at this center that I was in charge of the 5- and 6-year-old classroom. I have managed as many as 22 little ones on my own while never neglecting to offer them the individual attention they deserve. I'm also CPR certified. My greatest asset, though, comes from my personal experience. After my father suffered from a brain stem stroke when I was twelve years old, I was forced to learn what it means to be a compassionate and competent care provider. The past ten years of caring for him alongside my mother has taught me how Read more to be perceptive, discerning, and responsive to all of his needs. These are traits I've found to be very useful when working with children. There are some families that have kept me on their call-list for over five years to use as their babysitter, even if only occasionally. I absolutely love children (and can't wait until it's time to have my own)! I look forward to every chance I get to pour love and goodness into the children I come into contact with and would love to do the same with yours!
