Hi, I’m Ashley! I recently graduated from App State with a bachelor’s degree majoring Psychology and minoring in Communication Sciences and Disorders. In the fall, I will attend NC State to pursue my PhD in Lifespan Developmental Psychology to expand my knowledge and understanding of developmental psychology. I am a trustworthy, honest, empathetic, organized and motivated person. My degree in psychology has allowed me to better understand children through early development and into their adolescence. In 2019, I volunteered at Camp Carefree for two weeks, working with children who have chronic illnesses, taking care of them and helping them with activities of daily living. Additionally, I worked for Swim Fanatics as a summer camp counselor, teaching swim lessons, organizing crafts, assisting with sunscreen, and planning daily activities. I enjoy working with children, it has always come naturally to me!
