I have 8 years of experience in being a nanny and working with kids. I would watch the child/children during the summer while the parent(s) would be a work, as well as after school. When I got my licenses, I would sometimes pick the child/children up from school and if the parent(s) would allow it, I would take them out to the park whether it was walkable or we had to drive there. At times while I am watching them I will clean the house (with approval) just to lessen the load for the parent(s) so they can just come home and relax with their family.
