I am passionate about working with children because their optimistic and playful spirits bring joy to any day. At 21, I often say I’m just a big little kid myself. I love coloring, doing arts and crafts, playing outside, watching Disney movies, and engaging in a variety of fun activities that children enjoy. My experience working with kids is extensive and diverse. I have served as a campus counselor at various summer camps, where I developed and led activities designed to keep children engaged, active, and happy. As a site coordinator at the local YMCA, I facilitated group activities, ensuring a safe and fun environment for kids to play and learn. Additionally, I have valuable experience in a hospital setting, volunteering in the pediatric playroom at UNC Hospitals. Here, I engaged with pediatric patients, providing them with emotional support and fun distractions during their hospital stays.
