Hi!! I’m Mikaila. I’m 24. I moved to Morrisville to help care for my mom and siblings (now 3,5, & 12) while she was undergoing treatment for breast cancer. With things going great now, I have quite a bit of spare time. I’m extremely passionate about working with kids. Aside from younger siblings (I’m the oldest of 6, so multiples are never a struggle!!), I have spent several years leading a youth church group prior to moving, worked at multiple summer camps both for children and adults with special needs and a camp for children with emotional and behavioral needs, as well as babysitting on occasion. I love spending time outside, and think that’s truly where children flourish. I am very nurturing and patient! I improvise quickly, so rainy days or long days are never a struggle! I am CPR/First Aid certified, Childcare specialist level 1 & 2 certified(provided by a wonderful camp I worked for), and currently in the process of being certified for anaphylactic and asthma awareness & first aid.
