Hi, my name is Amanda. I am a married stay-at-home mom and have a 4-year-old boy and 9 year old girl. They are my world. I have a wide variety of experience working with children. To begin with, I have 19 nieces and nephews and the oldest of the 19 is 2 years younger than I am so I grew up taking care of kids! After I graduated high school, I took a job working in a boy scout camp doing arts and crafts, rock climbing instructor and a store clerk. After that, I worked at a daycare for 4 years working with ages ranging from 6 months-6th grade. I enjoyed that but it seemed like the children didn't get a lot of one on one time with the teachers, which is to be expected in a daycare setting and hard to prevent. After that I was nanny for a Read more 2-year-old and an 8-year-old. I worked at a rock climbing gym doing birthdays on the weekends and training people how to properly handle the ropes, during the week.
