Hello. I have spent the past 22 years working as a school counselor and administrator in the public school system. I have experience working at elementary, middle and high school as well as at the college level. I have been working with children my whole life. I grew up in a family owned day care center which served 100 children ranging from infants through fifth grade. I also worked in an infant room for 3 years when I was in college. I have been the director of summer school at an elementary school and the Supervisor of Children's Programs at a community center. Anytime I am working with students, I always treat them as if they were my own children. I have a daughter who is 16 and drives, which makes me have open availability. My college degrees are in psychology, elementary education, school counseling and school administration. I have Read more worked with people from 0-92 (Hospice) years of age. I am looking for summer employment (from June 15th-August 17th) any days, including weekends, and any hours. I would like to continue working some nights and weekends during the school year. Being outside, singing, dancing, making crafts, baking, reading... are just some of the activities I love doing with children. I love animals and am happy to include a dog on a walk. I can transport children, do light housekeeping, meal prep, etc. and once we develop a relationship, I am happy to have a child or children spend time at my home.
