I graduated in 2017 from The University of North Carolina at Greensboro with a bachelors of science in Human Development and Family Studies major with a concentration in child, youth, and family development and a minor in American Sign Language. I worked as a nanny throughout college and continued post-graduation, caring for children aged newborn to twelve years, with now nearly eight years of professional, full-time experience, I have experience with several sets of multiples (newborn twins, as well as toddler-aged twins), children with developmental delays, and internationally adopted children. I have experience with sick children as a volunteer with Brenner Children's Hospital, Make-A-Wish Foundation, and a pediatric hospice care facility, Kids Path. My philosophy as a childcare provider is teaching children balance in all things and to have the ability to go with the flow. I believe in learning through play but in also teaching life skills. I value Read more teaching children that prioritizing themselves at times is absolutely necessary and appropriate, but also is having deep compassion and respect for others. I am CPR and First Aid Certified. I have a clean background check, driving record, am a Certified Child Passenger Safety Technician (CPST) and additional training in Transporting Children with Special Healthcare Needs.
Trust & safety
We encourage parents to conduct their own screenings using the background check tools. See what each of the badges covered, or learn more about keeping your family safe by visiting the Trust & Safety Center.

Cyerra did an amazing job with our two boys (ages 9 and 1.5) My kids loved her and we came home to a clean house and the dinner dishes done and put away! We met to interview about a week before she sat for us for the first time and I knew instantly that she was going to be a great fit for our family! She is polite, energetic and communicates wonderfully! I would highly recommend Cyerra to anyone looking for a sitter and we look forward to having her watch our kids again!!
