Hi, my name is Alexis, and I am currently 24 completing my second bachelors degree in Nursing at Duke University! My previous bachelors degree is in Public Policy. I have experience with tutoring children for four years as well as working with kids that have special considerations/needs as a camp counselor for 2 years. While I may be new to professional childcare, I do have experience babysitting my cousins and nieces in the past for a couple of years. I am a very energetic and creative spirit, so I am always up to get active/engage in creative activities and games with kids. I also love to help with any homework and/or reading/writing specifically. I am currently BLS (Basic Life-Support) certified, doula trained, and have experience professionally working with natural hair for five+ years.
