Hi, my name is Yvonne! I am a mother of 2, an avid reader, and love to learn new things. In my free time, I volunteer with a Therapeutic Horsemanship Academy and am an assistant girl scout leader. I attended UNC at Pembroke where I graduated in December of 2022 with a BIS in Applied Education. I also hold an associate's degree in Early Childhood Education, with a concentration in infant/toddler development. I have been working with children for over 25 years. A few of the jobs I have had include being a lead teacher in infant, toddler, and preschool classrooms, childcare center director, working one on one with children with autism and other developmental disabilities, a full-time nanny to a one-year-old, and am currently a lead teacher at Currituck Head Start in the 3 and 4 year old classroom.
